|
The Director Teacher Training and Development will be responsible for designing and implementing classroom interventions under SRP. S/he will work with province and district teams to develop teachers skills on student-centered, numeracy and literacy improvement. S/he will ensure that training inputs under SRP inform the pre and in-service teacher development initiatives of the Government of Sindh. The Director Teacher Training and Development will report to the CoP. Travel to the project districts will be required. Eligibility Criteria - Masters degree or equivalent in a relevant field from an accredited university
- At least 8 years of experience in managing and implementing education programs in Pakistan, specifically Sindh
- Exemplary interpersonal skills and leadership to ensure internal coherence among team members and relations with all stakeholders
- Cutting edge knowledge of learning theories and their application, child-centered pedagogical approaches and androgyny
- Fluency in spoken and written English (for academic purposes) & working knowledge of Sindhi is essential
