|
The Manager SHN will be responsible for designing and implementing the child focused health education component for the project. S/he will work closely with SHN officers in the districts to engage parents and community members through interactive advocacy activities. The position will report to the Director Teacher Training and Development. Travel to the project districts will be required. Eligibility Criteria - Master's degree or equivalent in a relevant field from an accredited university
- At least 5 years experience in teacher training and education programs in Pakistan, specifically Sindh
- Sound knowledge of School Health and Nutrition and child focused health education
- At least 5 years experience in managing School Health and Nutrition programs
- Strong interpersonal, leadership and team building skills
- Knowledge of various learning theories and their application
- Knowledge of child-centered pedagogical approaches and andragogy
- Fluency in spoken and written English & working knowledge of Sindhi
