Essential Duties and Responsbilities
- Devise and employ fruitful sourcing strategies
- Prepare and process requisitions and purchase orders for supplies and equipment.
- Discover the most profitable suppliers and initiate business partnerships
- Negotiate with external vendors to secure the most advantageous terms
- Examine and re-evaluate existing contracts
- Track and report key functional metrics to reduce expenses and improve effectiveness
- Anticipate unfavourable events through analysis of data and prepare control strategies
- Perform risk management regarding supply contracts and agreements
- Control spend and build a culture of long-term saving on procurement costs.
- Meeting Procurement deadlines.
- Knowledge and experience of logistics.
- Procuring onshore and offshore equipment and material and ensure the goods delivery.
- Skills of MS project plan for onshore and offshore project, Vendor management skills etc.
Work Experience Requirements
- 4 or more years of experience in procurement and logisticsof projects.
- Compensation: Position starting at xxx annually Work Hours: ¾ Time – 40 hours per week, with health and other benefits. Candidate must have a flexible schedule
Education Requirements – Skills and Expertise
- Masters in Supply chain & Management
- Excellent Verbal and Written Communication Skills, Knowledge of customs & duties, Negotiations, Imports of Goods
- Proven working experience as a procurement manager
