Examine and evaluate the adequacy, effectiveness & efficiency of the organization’s internal controls & procedures and recommend corrective actions to improve operations & enhance internal controls.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Develop risk–based annual audit plans detailing the scope, nature and timing of audit activities.
- Conduct internal audits of different functions like Production, Supply Chain, QC&QA etc to assess theadequacy, effectiveness and efficiency of the established internal controls and procedures.
- Design internal audit procedures and work programs.
- Identify key areas of risk within the organization and propose appropriate controls to mitigate the risks.
- Prepare audit reports in line with the approved audit plan.
- Ensure audit and other review findings, observations and recommendations are discussed with respective department managers and agree on plan of action for improvement.
- Conduct continuous follow up to ensure managers and other responsible persons act on agreed action plans.
- Provide management with an opinion on the adequacy, effectiveness and efficiency of the internal controls in the organization.
- Analyze & validate the data being transferred in ERP from various channels in order to enusre its accuracy, authenticity & integrity.
- Any other task as assigned by the Management.
