We’re looking for a candidate who will have strong technical and analytical skills, and who can be the organizational lead on business intelligence development. Business Systems Analyst will be responsible for collecting and understanding business requirements from clients. Create requirements documents, translate requirements into program specifications/ solution. The ideal candidate must also demonstrate strong problem solving and analytical skills, and be able to communicate ideas to other team members. The candidate must possess a focus on quality with attention to detail and the ability to meet strict deadlines. This candidate will have to provide functional support to some applications as necessary.

Responsibilities

• Requirements gathering from product owner / clients
• Understand the clients strategic direction and structure
• Identify and communicate improvements to the clients systems and business processes
• Contribute to the production of business cases & project initiation documents (PID)
• Translation of business cases into specific project objectives
• Process mapping and modelling “as-is” and “to-be”
• Eliciting business requirements using formal/informal processes that could include discussions, document analysis, requirements workshops, business process descriptions, use cases, scenarios, business analysis, task and work-flow analysis
• Balance technology and business issues and effectively communicate with technology and business experts to clarify technical requirements and design
• Translate business requirements into appropriate Product Requirement Documents
• Serves as a technical resource to business users and other analysts
• Assist in review technical product documentation, user guides, and admin guides
• Seek best practices in areas of analysis and technology
• Ability to quickly learn new software requirements in order to identify the solutions in line with business requirements.

Skills Required:

• To succeed you will require excellent organizational and communication skills and a proven track record in analysis and reporting as part of your degree/studies.
• Strong oral and written communication skills in English are required.
• Skilled at understanding client business requirements and documenting them in a clear, easy to follow manner.
• Excellent presentation and influence skills to achieve results with internal and external customers
• Works well in a team environment, as well as independently.
• Self-motivated and able to work under pressure to deliver high-quality solutions.
• Respect for multiple viewpoints – Customer, Company, Internal teams.
• Willingness and capacity to research and learn additional technical skills as opportunities and necessities arise.
