| Job Description: |
|
Minimum 3 years commercial DBA experience in oracle 9i to 11g with sound technical background
- Experience designing, creating, maintaining and supporting Oracle DB 9i to 11g
- Experience with Oracle RAC
- Previous Oracle upgrade projects experience is preferred
- Experience in maintaining/administering multiple databases
- Good command on Oracle Grid Control, RMAN & Data Guard
- Knowledge and experience with Unix/Linux systems
- Experience in monitoring systems remotely
MS SQL:
- Experience in administration/configuration of MS SQL databases
- Knowledge of SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS) and TSQL
- Experience in performing database replications, deployment, troubleshooting and support
Other Desirable Skills:
- Oracle Certification
- Excellent communication skills both verbal and written
- University degree/Advance Diploma
- Ability to work in a team environment & learn new technologies
- Experience in looking after 247 environments
- Be able & available to work on Production issues after hours or on weekends
- Experience in working under a production support & pressured environment
- Troubleshooting, problem solving and able to drive issues to resolution
- Experience in performing health checks of database system
