- Analyze the project scope, the client's RFP and firm's proposal with the Project Architect. Organize the work on the project and set forth the procedures to be employed in accomplishing the project.
- Manage, design, develop, create and maintain small-scale through to large-scale construction projects in a safe, timely and sustainable manner
- Conduct on site investigations and analyze data (maps, reports, tests, drawings and other)
- On-site supervision of construction activities, evaluation of BoQs and Bills, as well as architectural, structural, MEP drawings
- Carry out technical and feasibility studies and draw up blueprints that satisfy technical specifications
- Assess potential risks, materials and costs
- Oversee and mentor staff and liaise with a variety of stakeholders
- Manage budget and purchase equipment/materials
- Comply with guidelines and regulations including permits, safety etc. and deliver technical files and other technical documentation as required
- Determine what codes and regulations are applicable to the project; determine what permits, licenses and authorizations will be required and how each is to be secured
- Minimum 8 years of relevant work experience (preferably high rise (G+14) projects)
- Negotiating, supervisory and leadership skills combined with the ability to delegate
- Excellent knowledge of design and visualizations software such as AutoCAD, Civil 3D or similar
- Project management and supervision skills
- Proficiency in site layout, grading, utility design, erosion control, regulatory approvals etc.
