The Network Analyst/ Security Analyst will be responsible for the implementation, maintenance, and integration of the corporate WAN, LAN, and Network Security architecture. This individual will also be responsible for implementation and administration of network security hardware and software, enforcing the network security policy, and complying with requirements of external security audits and recommendations.
Preferable Certification:
Some types of certification that are specific to network security specialists include the Cisco Certified Network Professional (CCNP), Cisco Certified Security Professional (CCSP) and Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA) certifications offered by Cisco; Systems Security Certified Practitioner (SSCP) and Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP).
