Job Summary:
Networking administrator is responsible for the installation, management and maintenance of networking infrastructure of bank such as LAN (Local area network) and WAN ( wide area network). Network administration is responsible to install switches and routers to expand the connectivity
Key Duties & Responsibilities
- Installation and implementation of switches, bridges, routers, gateways, security firewalls, application and device servers and internal devices and connections
- Deceives and implement a comprehensive workable disaster recovery system for communication links.
- Configure and optimize LAN & WAN and other network equipments for optimal performance at reasonable cost.
- Design and implementation of layer 3 and layer 2 network equipment
- Coordinate with service providers to ensure 24*7 connectivity
- Roll out hardware and software to ensure optimal deployment of resources
- Implement information security policies and procedures
- Perform routine schedule tasks in accordance with operations guidelines such as daily backups in the absence of relevant resources
- Manage and support VSAT & VPN links to maintain maximum connectivity
- Assist with development and implementation of disaster recovery procedure and processes.
- Provide front line support to end users of the bank branches, offices and departments on network s, hardware, communication systems, operating system, and system security issues.
- Troubleshoot various ICT issue mainly OS, network, systems, and ICT Infrastructure, raised from time to time
- Allocate and restrict user access to system resources as per bank policy
- Overall management of DR Site
- Consulting with different services providers, vendors, & stack holders in the office to minimize the down time to ensure the availability of IT infrastructure both primary site as well as on DR Site.
- Daily reporting about the availability of overall installed infrastructure on DR Site and file management.
- Daily reporting of network monitoring tool on daily basis if the concern employee is not available
- Support the HO staff on operation related issues such as Printers, Domain Joining, shared access and facilitate during VC meetings.

- 20. Additional work assigned by the line manager.
