|
The decision to accept students to a particular college extends beyond astudents grade transcripts. The college admission officer makes adecision based on the students total application. They strive to makesure the students objectives and the offerings of their particularcollege complement each other. They may oversee a committee of otheradministrators who assist in the admission decisions, or they may be acommittee of one, depending on the enrollment of their employingcollege. Additionally, they determine a students residency status aswell as whether or not existing credits can transfer. Otherresponsibilities include the compilation of reports, proposals andresponses to inquiries from students and others. The college admissionsofficer reports directly to the college dean. - Must be good looking - With speaking power of English - Presentably and language skills - Ability to take up roles and responsibilities on a pro-active basis. - Proficiency in MS Office
