Job Description:
  • To establish liaison with current TVET institutes, TVET governing bodies etc.

  • Carryout the quality assessment of TVET institutes for selection

  • Design conceptual and practical framework needed for upgrading TVET sector leading towards employability

  • Develop capacity building plan for TVET institutes in coordination with local partners

  • Design training products and their packages as per the private sector needs

  • Create linkages of TVET institutes with national/international bodies for curricula standardization and accreditation purposes

  • To lead on establishing baseline information of TVET in general and employment information in particular

  • Introduce new demand driven vocational and technical trainings

  • Facilitate stakeholder meetings/workshops/seminars relevant to the project scope

  • Carryout frequent field visits, monitor and support on-going trainings in targeted institutes and ensure that the quality of training is up to the agreed standard

  • Maintain high ethical standards at all times, avoiding any actual or perceived conflicts of interest

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

  • Excellent written and communication skills

  • Must be a team player with initiative and demonstrated ability to work in a challenging work environment

  • Strong work ethic and the ability to interact well with people at various levels

  • Strong Analytical and problem solving skills
