UHY Hassan Naeem & Co. Chartered Accountants, a reputed Chartered Accountants firm needs a technically sound individual for the positions of Junior Software Developer.
The ideal candidate should have a problem solving approach towards development, should be a team player and motivated to meet deadlines. The candidates should possess vast experience in ERP software development. Should be BCS (Hons)/Masters in Computer Sciences from a reputable institute and able to work independently under minimum supervision and must be productive from day one. Salary Package will be depending on candidate's ability & performance.
Proficiency is required in followings:
- VB 6
- .Net
- Crystal Reports
- SQL 2000, 2005, 2008
Responsibilities will include:
- Modifies, writes and documents software programming applications.
- Consults with internal and external clients to gather information about program needs, objectives, functions, features and input and output requirements.
- Demonstrates personal ownership and takes accountability for larger assigned tasks.
- Designs and codes screen layouts, graphical user interfaces, printed outputs and interfaces with other systems. Converts designs and specifications into computer code. Compiles code into programs and corrects errors detected in compile process. Analyzes code to find causes of errors and revises programs.
- Consults with client to prototype, refine, test and debug programs to meets needs.
- Provides technical assistance by responding to inquiries from others regarding errors, problems or questions about programs.
- May train end users or technical support staff to use programs.
- Ability to estimate, design and develop new modules and complex enhancements to the system.
- Ability to provide accurate estimates and impact of changes or enhancements.
