Assistant Day Care Teacher

Job Duties and Tasks for: "Teacher Assistant Daycare"

• Instruct children in health and personal habits such as eating, resting, and toilet habits.
• Observe and monitor children's play activities and engage them in constructive activities.
• Perform duties as planned under the leadership of the Early Childhood Specialist
• Assist & monitor in preparation of formulas/ food for children and serving of meals and refreshments to children
• Keep records on individual children, including daily observations and information about activities, meals served, and medications administered.
• Read to children, and teach them simple painting, drawing, handicrafts, and songs.
• Organize and participate in recreational activities, such as indoor/ outdoor games.
• Organize and store toys and materials to ensure order in activity areas.
• Assist & Monitor the Sterilization of the bottles , kitchen utensils and in maintenance of the hygienic indoor / outdoor environment
• Provide counseling to the children with behavior problems.
• Monitor the changing of Diapers & dress of the children.
• Assist children with homework in case of after school care.
• Monitor the supporting staff for housekeeping duties such as laundry, cleaning, dishwashing, and changing of linens.
• Accompany children to and from school, on outings, and to medical appointments.
• Assist & monitor the children into baths or pools.
• Update the section head about parents query or incident.
• Demonstrate behavior that is professional, ethical, and responsible
• Perform the assorted duties assigned by the management.

THIS IS A 9AM - 6PM POSITION. PART TIME OPTION OF 1PM - 6PM IS ALSO AVAILABLE
