Job Description:

The Receptionist/Cashier is responsible for keeping a complete record of all cash receipts/ payments. She/he is responsible for all services provided at the Reception desk including reservations and assists the hotel Supervisor in other assigned duties.

Responsibilities

  • Prepares voucher for items sold in reception and cash receipts for any payment received against membership fees and bills.
  • Maintain proper inventory sheets for all items sold at the Reception.
  • Prepares, at end of day, cash report and tally with physical cash in hand.
  • Provides requested information regarding all aspects of reservations and forward completed membership applications to the Finance Department.
  • Answer/ receive calls regarding reservations and other queries and provide overall assistance to members and staff at reception.
  • Maintain and organize effectively the reception area.
  • Deals with suggestions/ complaints and unpleasant situations and reporting them to the management.
  • Any other assignments given by the General Manager/Supervisor as and when required.
  • Handling SPA services.
 
Skills Required:
 
Experienced in handling POS and RMS. Excellent customer services skills.Able to work shift on rotation basis, whenever required.Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with employees and members.Strong Computer skills and the ability to the use the internet.Good Organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to perform under pressure.Strong desire to learn and adjust to demands of the job.Should be fluent in English language.
