[b]V[/b][b]erscom Technology[/b] is looking for an energetic, enthusiastic and innovative[b] Software QA Engineer[/b] to be a part of our growing Software Development team in Lahore. We create ground-breaking solutions to complex problems on a cutting-edge platform using Microsoft.NET and Java technologies.
The[b] Software QA Engineer[/b] will report to the Software QA lead and Dev Manager, also work closely with Development Engineers, Project Managers, and Business Analysts to design, develop and implement testing strategies on our systems. Our software systems are comprised of a set of SaaS based product and various VoIP applications that support various aspects of the business. This candidate will be the primary subject matter expert across these sets of systems supporting various development projects.
The primary roles and responsibilities include hands-on working experience of all QA methodologies and methods, preferably VoIP and web applications working alongside external service providers to produce quality test output that meets business expectations and quality objectives while aligning with industry standards.

[b]Experience:[/b]
- Working experience within agile software development team.
- Good hands on knowledge of Microsoft NET, HTML,CSS and JavaScripts.
- Experience in testing of Web, desktop in general and experience in QA of VoIP related applications is plus
[b]Qualifications:[/b]
- Good understanding of object-oriented software and SQL query language is preferable
- Strong understanding of web testing procedures and strategies
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Strong understanding of business process and business requirements analyses
- Strong analytical and problem solving skills
- Able to work independently (self-starter and self-motivated)
- Sense of urgency to meet deadlines and high quality standards
- Excellent time-management skills and able to efficiently shift priorities
- Experience in all flavor of testing including Data driven, test driven and behavioral driven.
- Excellent listening, verbal and written communication skills in English, with the ability to be effective at all levels of the organization
- Able to communicate in a clear, concise, understandable manner
- Ability to abstract technical information and compose into a workable Test Plan.
- Self-motivated, energetic, enthusiastic, and innovative

- Exposure to working with a team of external off shore vendors.
- Knowledgeable in data validation techniques.
- Familiarity with Visio and UML design and other documentation tools.
- Willing to travel to the HQ in Turkey in case of the project needs
- Monitor and re-test fault correction required in all stages of the project life cycle including systems testing
- Record results, log and tracking defects to resolution
- Fulfills needs for document creation like User Manuals, technical documents, Topology drawing etc.
