Web/Graphic Designer

Virtual Base immediately requires services of skilled creative Web Designer. The candidates must be creative and have great knowledge of web designing, web designing tools, and front end development.

Candidate will be a part of elite team that design and develop industry leading web based applications. The ideal candidate must have practice in designing of clean, simple and innovative web templates.

Responsibilities:

• Formal design skills and knowledge of design related to web apps, particularly Adobe Creative Suite products.
• Demonstrated knowledge of web technologies, particularly HTML, CSS and Content Management systems.
• Solid understanding of critical UX concerns and how to effectively incorporate them into page designs.
• Must be able to handle multiple design for one or more projects simultaneously.
• Develop clean, simple and attractive web design.
• Create banner ads, landing pages, demos, and other online marketing assets.
• Prior experience designing and evolving Word press sites.
  

Experience Required:

• Intelligent and Creative
• Strong background (3+ years) in web design and development using XHTML and CSS
• An expert visual/graphic designer with hands-on experience building web sites high-tech well as experience translating technical concepts into visually appealing, user-friendly pages
• The ideal candidate should be creative enough to bring big ideas to the table, but not above actually producing the work.
• Comfortable with a fast-moving, sometimes high-pressure startup environment

Pluses:

- PSD 2 HTML (a huge Plus) - Able to work on DIVs, CSS, by converting PSD template to HTML
- Experience in using jQuery / JavaScript, PHP, Flash (Action Script) or other dynamic scripting.

BSCS, BIT, MCS, MIT
