INTRODUCTION
The position is mandated to lead M&E functions under an urban city project titled “Enhancing Citizens’ Engagement in MSP for Jacobabad City” project to be commenced in Jacobabad city of Sindh initially for one year starting from March 2015. The extension of job duration is subject to extension of project duration. The project entails the mobilisation of urban communities to adopt improved hygiene behaviours and play active role in maintaining and benefitting from improved WASH services through Municipal Services Improvement Programme (MSP).
JOB PURPOSE
The Monitoring and Evaluation Coordinator will contribute to project monitoring and evaluation, quality assurance, learning and reporting according to the project log frame (LFA), project monitoring plan (PMP) and established indicators of measurement of the progress as well as verification/ validation of the interventions. The incumbent will be mainly responsible for dealing with the monitoring and evaluation functions of the proposed project. M&E Coordinator will also support the consultants in designing and conducting the baselines, KAP surveys and end-line evaluations of the project. S/he will ensure quality, accuracy, timeliness and management of the data collected from the field under this project. S/he will provide support to partner staff in effectively providing monitoring and other related data on key indicators thereby ensuring project’s alignment to results agreed with the donor in the project proposal.
