As a prospective top team member, based at our Lahore office, you will be responsible for maintaining and enhancing our information articles, page text, and marketing messages. It is likely that you are a journalist or academic, but any career path is acceptable. Qualifications: Top level degree in English or law Three years experience of writing exciting articles or other scripts in the English language. An understanding of basic legal principles would be an advantage, but is not essential. An understanding of SEO also advantageous, but can be learned Further information Net Lawman is the most respected and largest UK document provider. To date, our many texts have been written by a number of contributors. We are now too large to be able to rely on casual availability of key staff. We need someone who will be responsible for all the "words" that we use. Our UK staff will be available to localize text, but that is all. We want someone able to write interesting articles, gripping page text, routine document description pages and many messages and texts for the marketing department. We sell on the by-line "Real law in plain English", so it is important that our site and all other texts reflect that same clarity of structure of language. If you explore our web site you will see that there is plenty of room for improvement. We also have five other sites for different countries and have plans for many more. Each will require a bank of articles and many new pages of other text. Legal knowledge would be useful, but is not essential. Your understanding of law should be similar to that of a successful entrepreneur or business manager. Those are our customers. You do need to be able to understand one of our documents, but you do not need to know the legal principles under-pinning it.
