Key Responsibilities:

  • Implement World Learning’s HR Policies and Procedures and ensure all HR activities are carried-out in adherence to these standards
  • Work with CoP staff to determine workforce needs, identify human resource and competency gaps, and devise a development and workforce plan to promote staff development and retention
  • Oversee full-cycle recruitment process; develop candidate rosters, employ traditional sourcing strategies, actively network and employ innovative, creative recruiting methods to hire the best talent
  • Carry-out daily HR-related administrative duties such as updating contracts, generating employee reports, Maintaining HR files and executing compliance-related activities with all existing legal and government reporting requirements.
  • Oversee exit management process to ensure seamless and positive transition for departing employee
  • Manage benefit plans and communicate updates

Key Qualifications:

  • Five years of practical experience in working with USAID or other donor-funded training and development programs, in an HR or office manager capacity;
  • A relevant post-graduate degree;
  • Strong computer skills (word processing,, spreadsheets, databases and presentations);
  • Strong interpersonal, coordination and project management skills;
  • Strong written & oral communications; 
  • Team player, able to work respectfully and cooperatively with colleagues or different national and cultural backgrounds; and
  • Demonstrated personal commitment to peace, tolerance and development.
