Coordinator Planning and Development

Programme Development Department, WWF - Pakistan

Direct Supervisor: Senior Manager Programme Development, WWF - Pakistan

Duty Station: Head Office, Lahore

Positions: 1

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  1. Development of concepts and proposals for funding from GAAs, WWF Network and Trusts and Foundations using WWF Project and Programme Management Standards
  1. Facilitate in selection of conservation priorities and their alignment with Global Programme Framework;
  1. Support in review and comment on policy and position papers
  1. Facilitate mainstreaming of WWF Project and Programme Management Standards in WWF projects and programmes and build capacity of concerned staff in better understanding of these standards
  2. Assist in Poverty, Livelihood, Environment and Economics research studies carried out by Programme Development Department (such as designing survey tools, analysis and report writing).
  3. Carry out any other tasks assigned by Senior Manager Programme Development

SELECTION CRITERIA:

Education and Experience

  1. Masters in humanities or social sciences
  2. At least 4 years of working experience in a relevant field
  3. Experience in nature conservation and sustainable development issues will be preferred

Skills

Skills and Attributes

Excellent writing and communication skills in English
Proficiency in MS Office applications
Excellent research skills
Aptitude for team work and coordination
Demonstrated initiative in working independently and meeting deadlines
A personal commitment to nature conservation
Sensitivity to gender and other social issues in countries such as Pakistan
