The Finance Officer will perform financial duties to assist the Assistant Manager Finance in day-to-day management of the Program and maintain up to date records of expenditures and revisions in consultation with the Assistant Manager Finance. Main responsibilities include but not limited to the following; 1. Handle office cash and ensure safe custody 2. Prepare summary of cash receipts & disbursements on daily basis 3. Prepare receipt & payment and journal vouchers of Karachi Office 4. Enter financial data of the region into ACCPAC (accounting software) 5. Prepare monthly Bank/Cash Reconciliation Statements 6. Assist in review of financial data received from site offices 7. Process employee claims including medical, overtime, telephone, travel and others. 8. Liaison with site/field offices regarding timely flow of financial data 9. Keep regular follow-up of outstanding advance and payables and prepare monthly reconciliation 10. Any other task assigned by the supervisor(s). |
