JOB SUMMARY
We are hiring a full-time Front-End Developer, who will help develop interactive web user interfaces in JavaScript, HTML5, CSS3. This position is also required to work on opportunities of diverse scope, where analysis of situations or data requires evaluation of various factors as well as exercising judgment within generally defined practices and policies including selecting methods and techniques for obtaining optimum results.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
Front-End software development (GUI)
• Participate in establishing deadlines, and provide on-going communication of progress to keep projects on track and on time.
• Assist project leader to establish project team goals, objectives and budget, and identify, coordinate and acquire resources to reach them.
• Provide feedback to the solutions group regarding software functionality, model fit/effectiveness, and client feedback.
• Assist in establishing methods to track client satisfaction.
QUALIFICATIONS
Must hold a Bachelors’ degree in Computer Science or Engineering.
• Strong Web UI development skills including HTML5, JavaScript, CSS3 and Ruby on Rails.
• Solid knowledge of UI frameworks: jQuery, Dojo, Kendo, ExtJS, AngularJS, Bootstrap or similar.
• Solid hands-on experience of integration technologies: JSON, XML, XSD, REST, SOAP.
• Good working knowledge of Java.
• Experience in developing e-commerce solutions is an asset.
• Exposure to ExtJS framework and AngularJS.
• Experience dealing with the complexities of building, maintaining and testing JavaScript-heavy single page web applications.
