The ideal candidate should be bold enough to carry out a complete project from concept designing to manufacturing of the end product.
Conduct research and create design proposals for projects.
Create concepts, performance, and production criteria.
Designing, modeling and test prototyping for products.
Create parts lists.
Identify and select materials needed for production.
Produce final hand drawings and specifications.
List costs involved in production.
Improve usability of an item.
Negotiate appropriate production processes.
Use computer-aided design (CAD) to design concepts.
Travel to production facilities and relevant industries and markets to evaluate processes.
Skills Required: Excellent problem solving and time management skillsStrong verbal and written communication skills
Self motivated and highly organized
Knowledge of electronic equipment and computer hardware and software
Proficiency in 3D CAD modeling will be considered as additional benefit.
Industrial and Manufacturing Engineer will be preferred who have concepts of production processes and designing of parts and assemblies. Knowledge of supply chain will be an additional benefit.
