| Job Description: |
|
- To manage, monitor and control overall Inventory, Warehousing, and Logistic activities.
- Manage & control the overall Raw Material & Finished goods.
- Ensure that defined stock levels of the materials are maintained.
- Ensure proper stacking, tagging of all materials and keep a strong check that proper quantities are issued.
- Liaison with all related departments for smooth flow of production.
- Ensure the accuracy of overall dispatches on time.
- Implement & follow up of already defined policies & procedures for streamlining of the stores activities in an effective manner.
- Follow-up with the procurement department to arrange the items against the pending demands raised by the various departments/sections.
- Keep informed the higher management of any urgency well in time in respect of items needed against demands to keep the plant in running position.
- To run stores at optimum level and apprise the management about cost saving solutions.
- Arrange, manage & control defined limits of various items on monthly, quarterly and/or annual basis.
- Conduct monthly/surprised stock takings to have a check on the stocks.
- Carried out physical audit of the departments and stores with reference to inventory accuracy, diagnosed the roots of defects, solved the disparities and took the preventive measures to avoid such happenings in future.
- Manage to prepare for the monthly, quarterly, six monthly and annual audits.
- To submit the various reports to management regarding raw & packing material and finished goods.
- Take necessary steps monitor inventory with the use of SAP.
