|
Job Description: - DSP, CMP, RUP resource rationalization and optimization for optimum PS & CS throughput & service respectively
- BSC CPU Load Optimization on all interfaces, leading to PSR Improvements, TCR, Link Utilizations
- O&M and Configuration of ZTE BSS Nodes
- ASR degradation analysis and combat strategies
- WAP audits and Log analysis/audit
- Raising concerns in time regarding TRX Loading, CMP CPU Load, Flow control Strategies, Paging discards, LAC loading to concerned mean while opting strategies to resolve any such issue within department
- Addressing RAN queries like Voice distortion, Mute calls, degraded
- ASR on BSC level and execution of projects like AFOS on regional/BSC level
- Addressing Customer complaints which are beyond the scope of RAN/FOPs/P&I, whether they be about call connectivity or EDGE Download speed
- Network Resource Optimization and Capacity Expansion (Monitoring of congested cells & Work Orders generation/execution to expand TRXs in over utilized cells and scratch TRXs from underutilized cells)
- Will be arranging OMC(R-B)/BSC/BTS/Servers Upgrades in coordination with Vendor, deputing dedicated resources for those activities and Post analysis and support
- Coordination with SGSN/VAS, NMC, Inspur Teams for matters regarding Gb link, NMS, Stats data collection and escalation
- Expansion on A-Interface when TU exceeds a predefined threshold in
- busy hour alongside N7 link utilizations
- Expansion on Gb-Interface once data traffic between BSC PCU and SGSN exceeds BSCs data links monitoring and troubleshooting
- PM/CM of BSCs
- Collaboration with NSS team for Ater expansion, GCI Reconciliation, Signaling Trace Analysis at all interfaces i.e (Um, Abis, OAM, Gb)
- MML batch generation & executions cluster wise & BSC wise
- Installation, Configuration & Commissioning of BSC V3,ZXUR 9000, M8206 & BTS 8112,8018,SDR
- All the activities like Cutovers, Media Shifting, Software Patches Upgrades, NMS, Health check of Servers(Linux, Sun Solaris)
- Making plans and implementation for any new upcoming development in the network(Like current migration of Central Urban Network from V3 iBSC to V4 BSCs by ZTE)
- Arranging interfaces/Media from TXN, IP Core, SGSN, NSS and creating a harmonious relationship between them
- Analyzing the Signalling trace(OAM, Abis, A, Um, Gb) results once any peculiar case is brought up in the network
- Follow up with Vendor for R&D related issues
- Level 2 TTs generation and follow up with Vendor
- Devising strategies for smooth flow of BSC operation
- Coordination with P&I and Vendor for new BSCs installation/expansion
- Special projects like CS quality and PS throughput through realignment of BSC resources or floating the concerns to other concerned departments
- Making sure proper ZDB/ZTD backups are being taken along side redundant TXN paths are available in case of remote BSCs
- Alarms analysis appearing on any BSC and devising ways for their in time resolution PAT FAT of new BSCs and servers
Eligibility Criteria (Qualification, Experience & Skills):
- At least Bachelor of Engineering (B.E) in Telecom/Electronics/Electrical/Computer
- Have Strong knowledge of GSM architecture with focus on BSS entities
- At least 4-5 years experience on Multi Vendor BSS Nodes both in Vendor and Operator
