|
Duties & Responsibilities - Nationwide configuration of IP/MPLS network devices including Core, Distribution and access level router, Huawei NE 80e, NE40e, NE08e, S8500, E1000, E500, S9300, Zxr10, Cisco 3600, 3700, Cisco 7600, Alcatel switches, Juniper router.
- Ensure Quality of service for critical traffic, Fast Reroute and Network Security in IP/MPLS Network.
- Integration of different services STP, Media gateways, GGSN, SMSC with IP Core
- Analysis of traffic and availability of network resources of IP Core for future planning.
- IP Planning and DCN Design of Microwave networks.
- Coordinate with the regional team to perform health checks and ensure that routines for corrective and preventive maintenance are timely and precisely done.
- Ensure that backups are taken as per defined frequency in order to support the companys disaster recovery planning.
- Provide Level 2 and Level 3 IP/MPLS support.
- Maintain and manage inventory and notify concerned manager about new requirements
- Ability to design hierarchical network structures and assign sub-networks over various physical media
Eligibility Criteria (qualification, experience and skills required): - CISCO or Juniper Certifications(CCNA, CCIE, JNCIA etc)
- Have a strong knowledge of routing protocols i.e.: RIP, ISIS, OSPF, BGP, MPBGP, MPLS, IPSec, MPLS VPN, and MPLS TE, IGRP, EIGRP.
- Also have strong knowledge of other technologies used in IP/ MPLS Network IP TRUNK, PWE3, L2VPN, L3VPN PIM/SM, IGMP, etc.
- Knowledge and experience of various VPNs: ATM VPN, GRE/IPsec VPNs, MPLS VPNs.
- Excellent presentation skills
- Ability to lead and manage team.
- Preference would be given to residents of Islamabad and Rawalpindi. Willing to take on additional tasks as required and learn new skills
- Ability to maintain high levels of confidentiality.
