Will be responsible for leading the injection moulding process through support of process technicians, optimization of moulding process, continuous improvement initiatives, liaising with outside vendors and internal resources. This position will provide manufacturing support. This position is responsible for participating in development of new injection moulding tools and processes.Candidate with R&D and strong grip on Injection moulding are required to perform the following.
Candidate must have prior experience in Plastic manufacturing concern
- Responsible for injection moulding related continuous improvement (e.g. cycle time, scarp, quality, material cost reduction, etc.) and process troubleshooting
- Leads and/or supports corrective action projects
- Recommends, implements, and trains users of production equipment
- Trail new tooling/equipment/material and make modifications as needed to meet quality and production goals
- Provides support on new product lunch tooling, providing the manufacturing input for development of new process and improvements to existing processes and tooling
- continuous improvement of equipment and tools required in plants for the production of high quality parts
- Understand and deliver plant capability/capacity improvements
