Key Responsibilities and Duties
- Lead a team of front end developers
- Be the primary/lead developer on client web projects
- Use modern web technologies to design and code responsive applications
- Incorporate unit testing (Mocha, Chai, Karma, Jasmine, Cypress)
- Develop new user-facing features
- Build reusable code and libraries for future use
- Partner with UX/Art and ensure the technical feasibility of UI/UX designs to deliver cutting-edge web experiences
- Collaborate with back-end developers to design and build a robust API
- Constantly researching, prototyping, exploring ways to grow our capabilities
- Must be self-directed, confident and able to work in a fast-paced environment
- Optimize applications for maximum speed and scalability
- Document technical implementations
Qualifications And Skills
- 4+ years JavaScript/SPA proven experience working on multiple complex projects
- Expert knowledge of JavaScript object oriented programming using front-end frameworks such as VueJS.
- Must have strong expertise integrating with REST APIs using JSON with the ability to create advanced parsing and data manipulation functions
- Expert understanding of HTML5 and CSS3 best-practices
- Experience with Git (or other version-control systems)
- Webpack or other build / task-automation tools (Gulp, Grunt)
- Must be a quick learner and a good troubleshooter
- Strong problem solving and debugging skills
Working experience with Vue.js is plus.
