Manager – Filling plant

Responsible to : Director Operation LPG

Duties :

1. He will be responsible for all filling operations of plant including safety and security
2. He will ensure that full machinery, equipment, testing/repair and maintenance facilities at the plant are fully in working condition and well maintained
3. He is responsible for the installation of new machinery and other allied facilities at the plant
4. Will issue monthly repair/maintenance programme of the plant and ensure its implementation by all concerned
5. He will ensure LPG is properly received, measured and recorded in documents
6. He will ensure that filling operation at plant ids efficient and smooth and dispatches are made as per programme issued from the project/ head office
7. He will ensure that the equipment installed in the permanent installation i-e Safety Valves, gauges, values and filters are regularly cleaned and kept in perfect working condition at all times to meet the safety requirements.
8. He will be responsible for proper training of staff and arranging the fire practices and keeping equipment in fully fit condition.
9. He will ensure that the Fire Fighting Equipment facilities are at all times in good working condition.
10. He will arrange fire-fighting practices once a fortnight and maintain a proper record of the same. A rigid control precautions against fire will be maintained.
11. He will be responsible for the timely submission of daily and monthly reports for OGRA and various departments regarding the operation and maintenance of the plant.
12. Over and above the duties/responsibilities described above, he will be responsible to do jobs as entrusted to him by the management.
