A Contruction company based in Islamabad requires candidates for the job of “Civil Site Supervisor” for its renovation work of commercial projects. (Experience of construction of residential projects is a plus)
Must have 2-3 years experience of renovation work.
The candidates must be self-driven, possess initiative and dynamic
Must have at least DAE diploma and experience of successfully completing 3-4 interior / renovation projects on fast track basis.
Main duties shall include but not limited to the following:
Must have knowledge of BOQ verification and can supervise site work independently.
Should have sound knowledge of competitive market rates of construction materials and its procurement.
Must be fully conversant with construction related activity at the site including receiving,
Accounting, record keeping and issuing the construction material at the site.
Develop procedures and SOPs to ensure that no wastage and/or pilferage of building material takes place at the site.
Must be able to read and understand drawings and be able to supervise the construction work as per the drawing
Should be able to work as an amicable team member with the security staff and contractor’s labor/ staff on the site.
Supervise construction works as per design and specifications while ensuring required quality.
Should be honest, punctual, and result-oriented.
Ensure execution of civil works as per specifications and standards.
Must have computer literacy especially MS offices and AutoCAD.
Possess good communication skills
Ability to produce results under pressure particularly to strict deadlines.
- Prapare timeline of the project, divide the activities and handle labor accordingly.
- Prepare estimates on excel for construction work by using autocad drawings and report the procurement details timely.
Possess problem-solving skills and adaptability.
