Responsibilities
- DevOps engineer with the goal of continuous delivery in an on-premise, AWS, Azure and other cloud-based infrastructure
- Bring significant operational and data management efficiencies to R&D Engineering and QA teams through automation
- Collaborate with other engineers, communicating progress and challenges and soliciting input from QA and Development teams
- Design, deploy, manage and document a CI/CD pipeline
- Perform application service performance analysis and scale/load testing
- Monitor application service and ensure alignment with availability requirements
- Work closely with development, Q&A and operations teams with the goal of improving product delivery process
DevOps Requirements and Qualifications
- 3+ year's experience in a DevOps role
- Experience with AWS and Docker containers
- Experience with Git source control and GitHub Gitlab or Bitbucket
- Experience with Java, C/C++, Python environments
- Expert in scripting (Batch, Perl, Bash, Ruby, Groovy, or similar languages)
- Strong knowledge on Java & .NET CI/CD pipelines;
- Experience with noSQL databases such as MongoDB
- Strong Linux competency
- Strong Knowledge of open-source libraries/packages
- BS or MS in Computer Science or Computer Engineering
- Experience working in an agile (scrum) development environment
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Experience with continuous integration tools, specifically Jenkins
- Knowledge of embedded build tools a plus
- Knowledge of cloud deployment technologies such as Terraform, Ansible, Puppet, Chef a plus
