Travel Consultant duties and responsibilities
- Plan and organize internal travel for employee/consultants- Strong understanding of company travel policy- Research most price-efficient opportunities- Book tickets, reserve accommodations, organize rental transportation- Maintain company loyalty programs- Accommodate employee preferences- Coordinate group travels for meetings, conferences and seminars- Produce travel plans and itineraries for complex trips- Support for changes of plan and travel emergencies Travel Consultant Requirements- Proficient, client-facing written and spoken English- 3 years as a Travel Consultant or similar role for US & International travel- Familiarity with major airlines travel websites and software- Knowledge of various travel alternatives including taxi/Uber rental- Understanding of travel-related loyalty programs and benefits- Customer-oriented mindset and communication skills- Speedy responsiveness and prioritizationJob Details
