We are looking for a consultant who has experience with COBOL and JCL code to extract business rules and then create an output.
Major Job Responsibilities:
- Design, develop and maintain Mainframe COBOL & JCL to meet support and/or project requirements.
- Minimum 4+ years of experience in applications development and support using z/OS DB2, JCL, PLI, REXX, DPROPR, SPUFI
- Or
- Minimum 4+ years of experience in applications development and support using Bull - GCOS8, TP8, PL/6, Tuxedo, Cobol, JCL-8
- Should have worked on reporting tools
- Bachelor’s degree in information technology, computer science or related field
Good to have any of the following skill set & certification;
- Java for COBOL Programmers - Fundamentals
- Java / J2EE (Core-Java, EJB, JCA, JTA, Resource Adapter), JBOSS, C++, perl, IDE - VSIDE – Eclipse, Jenkins, Bitbucket, gnu, g++, Oracle
