We are looking for a candidate with extensive market experience in the residential solar system sales. The sales and design position requires a unique combination of technical & communication skills to guide customers and help them find the right “solar fit” for their home. This person is responsible for taking initial sales calls, qualifying leads, scheduling in-home customer meetings, getting on roofs to measure and conduct shade analysis, presenting system and financing options to the customer, completing the initial PV system design, developing the sales quote, and closing the sale.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
· Sales of residential solar electric systems.
· Prospecting for and qualifying leads.
· Conducting site evaluations for potential customers (including getting on the roof for measuring).
· Analysis of customers' current and projected electrical usage and financial return on investment.
· Designing and pricing solar electric systems and creating quotes.
· Closing agreements and signing contracts.
· Communicating with project manager and team members
· These might extend to team management

Outstanding communication and customer service skills and experience.
General construction understanding
General understanding of electricity and electrical systems.
Must be highly organized & have ability to multi-task and set priorities.
Great team player in a collaborative rather than competitive sales team environment.
QUALIFICATION AND EXPERIENCE
Bachelor’s degree or 2 years related experience
Engineering degree

Position is full-time
Salary range commensurate with experience and commission structure
