About Opportunity
Breakthru is looking for a UI/UX designer to turn ideas into visually appealing prototypes for the product managers. This job requires you to work alongside the CEO, product managers, and other designers to gather design requirements, and design graphic elements, and components that are not only functional but visually stunning as well. To be successful in this role, you should have prior experience in working with design software, wireframing tools, and producing good designs. If you also have a portfolio of professional design projects that includes work with web/mobile applications, we’d like to meet you. Ultimately, you’ll create both functional and appealing features that address our customer’s needs and help us grow our customer base.
Job Responsibility
- Gather and evaluate user/design requirements.
- Illustrate design ideas using user flows, process flows, and diagrams.
- Design graphic user interface elements, like menus, tabs, and widgets for mobile and at times for web as well.
- Develop clickable UI mockups and prototypes that clearly illustrate how sites function and look.
- Create original graphic designs (e.g. images, sketches, and tables)
- Prepare and present rough drafts to internal teams and key stakeholders
- Identify and troubleshoot UX problems (e.g. responsiveness)
- Conduct layout adjustments based on user feedback
- Adhere to style standards on fonts, colors, and images
- Testing new design ideas before implementing.
Candidacy Requirements
- Proven work experience as a UI/UX Designer or similar role.
- Portfolio of design projects (preferably mobile app).
- Knowledge of wireframe tools (e.g. Wireframe Pro, Balsamiq, and InVision)
- Up-to-date knowledge of design software like Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, etc.
- Team spirit; strong communication skills to collaborate with various stakeholders.
- Good time-management skills and ability to meet deadlines.
- BSc in Design, Computer Science, or relevant field will be an advantage.
