Our client is looking for innovative and motivated individual, who under general direction can work with a high level of autonomy, uses knowledge and skills obtained through education and experience to perform the necessary development related tasks as mentioned below.
Key Responsibilities
- Build/maintain real-time, performant native Android applications for internal and external use
- Collaborate with Product and Design teams to create elegant and intuitive experience for users
- Use software development best practices to write code that is maintainable, testable, and efficient
- Stay current with the fast-changing landscape of Android development and best practices
- Support and troubleshoot issues, identify root cause, and proactively implement sustainable solutions
The ideal candidate will have
- 3-5 years of recent Android development experience using Android Studio and JAVA
- Understanding of software design patterns, quality and performance considerations, and skills to develop great user experience
- Solid understanding of application security and best practices
- Work efficiently with version control and workflows (git) High level expertise of design and UX principles for mobile interfaces
- Working experience of writing unit tests
- Familiarity with writing backend-end APIs
- Personal apps on the Google play store
Skills
- Familiarity with writing backend-end APIs
- Familiarity with developing with Firebase (analytics, notifications, etc)
- Experience communicating with secure JSON-based REST APIs
