Duties:
Design end-2-end solution (taking into account all functional and non-functional requirements as well as any organizational constraints)
Document the design following views based approach.
Oversee the implementation of the design, alongside Application Architects, Infrastructure Architects, System and Software Designers, Data Architects etc.
Follow and contribute to overall design principles and guidance for software and hardware integration, performance design, reliability design, manageability design and security design
Ensures that the design and specifications are reviewed and signed off by relevant stakeholders and then published and controlled
Experience:
Operated as Solutions/Technical Architect or similar senior capacity for a minimum of 5 years.
Practical experience of enterprise development stacks such as Microsoft .Net
Understanding of Infrastructure components (Enterprise Storage, Networking and Server)
Practical experience working with Azure and understanding of SaaS, PaaS and IaaS
Understanding of Software Design Principles and patterns including Microservices, SOA
Experience of back end development and design of database e.g. SQL Server, Oracle, My SQL
Understanding of Active Directory, authentication services (SAML, PKI etc) and O.S. technologies
- Experience in both bespoke (custom designed) software development and integration of COTS
- Practical knowledge of taking a project from inception through to completion
Experience working in an Agile environment and tooling i.e. jira, confluence, trello
Delivery focused and self driven.
TOGAF or similar certification desirable
Excellent communication skills verbal and written in english.
Experience in of working in offshore environment
