Looking for candidates to help with testing of our web product.

Must have knowledge of testing methodolgies with proven experience of software development or support or testing.

Job Description:

The individual demonstrates a working or functional proficiency level which enables the competency to be exercised effectively
Has solid knowledge of Testing Tools used for performance testing and can create new performance test script
Can analyse requirements, script less complex performance tests
Requires little help from an Advanced specialist
Working with Business subject matter expert and Application, System design and integration SME specifications to define segment testing approach, use cases and test cases for functional and non functional specifications and capability as well as for critical business process to enable testers

Familiarity with HTML5, CSS3 and JavaScript

Ability to write automated testing scripts ( Selenium , etc.)

A keen eye to spot UX inconsistencies between design and implementation across multiple browsers, responsive layers and devices , including using emulators when necessary

Passion for figuring out why and how things are working, and critically figuring out ways to break them

A multi-tasker who can handle quick turn-arounds from assorted projects across several clients to meet deadlines

Lives by an agile project management approach via software systems (JIRA)

Ability to think from an end-user perspective with experience writing user stories

Expertise with test-driven development , creating and implementing strong testing plans

Release Management of projects through all stages of development through deployment

Strong interpersonal communication skills with team members across all departments (development, copy, design, account)

Skills and Qualifications of Interest:

Proofreading skills are a major plus

Proficiency testing mobile web applications

Basic knowledge of at least one back-end coding language such as Java, Python or PHP

Experience testing responsive emails by using emulation tools such as Litmus
