As a Technical Senior Consultant, your main responsibilities will be:

Technical delivery in both Agile and Waterfall methodologies
Interface with Business consultants for requirements handover and understand the functional design.
Develop technical design document based on functional design
Ability to clearly communicate technical details to business and management personnel
Implement solutions using the Microsoft Power BI tool suite and related technologies
Leverage advanced database systems including data warehouses, data marts, and models needed for business and operational analysis and/or reporting
Develop high performing, reliable and scalable solutions
Unit testing and documentation of the solution
Work independently or as part of a team to design and develop solutions
Provide meaningful feedback and coaching of other team members to successfully overcome technological challenges
Leading and demonstrating emerging technologies and concepts to teams
Development using MS BI, SSAS, SSIS, SSRS, T-SQL, based on customer requirements
Conduct Solution upgrade (Power BI) from the previous version and data migration
Provide post-go-live resolution of issues from clients.

Required Skills specific to the job

Having 6-8 Years of experience in BI Engineering
Strong knowledge in MS SQL Server 2012 and higher version.
Excellent experience in SQL, T-SQL.
Deep knowledge of PowerBI, data sources, dashboards, reports, delivery model.
Preferably having data analytics skills (statistics, ML)
Experience with applying BI to complex application data schemas (such as ERP)
Equal competence in SSIS, SSAS and SSRS.
Hands on experience in ETL process using SSIS.
Proficient in Dimensional Data Modelling, Cube Development and Cube Processing using SSAS.
Hands on experience in Report Designing, Report Deploying, Report Subscriptions using SSRS and PowerBI.
Experience in gathering requirements and coming up with solution approach
Should have delivered multiple DW projects end to end.
Strong in Data Warehouse concepts and solution architecture design.
Knowledge/experience with Azure database and data analytics services
Skills to act as a player (BI expert) in a multi-disciplinary team with functional people/domain experts (customer, consultants) and application software developers
Thorough Knowledge on Data Warehouse concepts like Star Schema, Snow Flake Schema, Dimension Tables and Fact Tables.
