Overview:
- Our application is a Windows console/UI application with a shared DLL back-end.
- The core part of the application is a C++ DLL.
- The console applications and UI applications are programmed in C#.
- We are looking for a C & C++ developer with at least 7+ years’ experience.
- Knowledge of C# a bonus, though not required.
Required Skills:
- Ability to work with a team to meet team goals is essential. Our developers do not work in a vacuum.
- You are expected to provide assistance if asked will be expected to ask for assistance if you run into problems.
- We do not expect you to solve every problem and your own and indeed actively discourage this behavior.
- Teamwork is essential!
- Strong proficiency in C, with fairly complete knowledge of the language specification
- Thorough knowledge of the standard library as specified by ISO and ANSI
- Good understanding of memory management in non-garbage collected environments
- Knowledge of low-level threading primitives and real-time environments
- Familiarity with system call wrapper library functions
- Knowledge of writing native modules for high-level languages such as Node.js, Python, Go, etc.
- Familiarity with embedded systems design and low-level hardware interactions
- Technical expertise in Software Development Life Cycle entailing requirement analysis, time & cost estimation and high-level design.
- Good understanding of Agile development methodologies, including SCRUM.
- Good understanding and working experience of the C++ STL (Standard Template Library).
- Extensive knowledge of Visual Studio and relevant debugging tools.
- Familiarity with the Reshape Visual Studio plugin.
- Flexibility in job role is expected. Most of your time you will be spent working on C/C++ but may occasionally need to work on other tasks.
- Must be an effective communicator with excellent analytical / logical skills and ability to relate to the people at any level of the business and management.
- Deep understanding of technology with focus on delivering business solutions.
- Fast learner and self-motivated.
