Primary Duty:

a)     Achieving monthly sales targets of their region

b)    Visit at least two shops daily and spend

Primary Daily/weekly/monthly Tasks:

a)     Daily managers counseling on sales targets and other operational issues.

b)    Weekly salesmen counseling on their individual performance.

c)     Fortnightly/monthly audit quires counseling.

d)    Coordinating with Planning and Distribution department so that on daily basis stores stock requirements are fulfilled according to the store demands. Hence making sure that stock standards are maintained at the store.

e)    Monthly indiraj report from the system and counseling with the store managers.

f)      Conducting monthly stock take by the store managers in due course of time.

g)     Making sure that system sizes and physical sizes are matched

h)    Make sure that best sale staff is working at shops

i)       Recommend best resource to HR for hiring

j)       Monthly reports and all Sale Staff evaluation form must be submit to HOS

Operations:

a)     Educating salesmen and store managers that at daily closing, salesmen tally their sales with the computer operator. Hence making sure that sales are entered in the system in concerned salesmen code.

b)    Educating managers that they tally their sales with the manual cm’s on daily basis, hence ensuring that system and manual sales are tally with each other.

c)     Developing the culture of scanners while making bill for the customer and making sure that computerized receipt is issued to the customer.

d)    On daily basis batch closing of sales, credit card.

e)    Educating store managers that all queries and explanations of different departments are answered promptly.

f)      Developing a culture that store managers do the morning clinics on regular basis.

g)     Staff motivation, in this regard off and on meetings should be conducted at the stores with the staff.

h)    Proper shop displays according to the company standards.

i)       Ensuring that all polices of the company are fully implemented and followed.

j)       1Giving best environment to the customers at stores.

k)     Time to time market visits and analysis of the competitors.

l)       Suggesting new store locations.

Other Departments:

a)     Verifying that attendance is done through thumb devices in due course of time.

b)    Maintaining proper staff attendance at stores.

c)     Implementation of the procedure defined for stock receiving and reporting shortages in stocks from warehouse.

d)    Implementation of the TT policy of the company.

e)    Ensuring that stores are online during the store working hours.

f)      Minimizing indiraj at stores and ensuring that indiraj pairs are dispatched to warehouse in their due dates.

g)     Coordinating with admin department that all maintenance work is done at the store in a proper way and in due time.

h)    Ensuring that on week end all the documents required by the audit department are send to head office properly and in due time.

i)       Proper filing of expense sheets, receiving, inters transfers, utilities; inter transfer memos, attendance, etc.

j)       Maintaining repair registers at stores and ensuring that RP pairs are send to ware house on the same day and procedure of RP is fully implemented and followed.

k)     Execution of the inter transfers in a proper way and in due time.

l)       When any marketing activity is launched, ensuring that everything is properly executed.

Functions:

• ASM would function independently and would do the interdepartmental liaison, for major decisions would follow the high command structure.

• ASM would do the daily counseling of managers and write a report to be mailed to Manager Operations and directors.

• ASM would make a visit report on the given format and on return from the visit give a presentation to Manager Operations.

• AM would do weekly salesmen counseling.

• On monthly basis would submit a written warning report to HR department regarding the non-performer salesmen.

• On monthly basis each manager performance report would be submitted to HR department.

• On quarterly basis would submit a written warning report to HR department regarding the non-performer managers.
