AAN Associates requires a young and dynamic Knowledge and Communications Officer for Communications, Knowledge and Systems Unit. The incumbent shall assist the Unit’s Manager in growing portfolio of communication, knowledge, and systems functions. The incumbent shall be required to assist the Unit Manager on on-going basis in documentation, communication / visibility, and critical thinking for systems and standardization. The ideal candidate will have a passion for working in the development sector and be a critical thinker with a penchant for using technology to solve problems. The candidate should also be prepared and willing to invest at least the next two to three years of his/her career in the Firm.

Functional Responsibilities

Assist in development, updating, and dissemination of AAN’s communication products including corporate profiles, websites, and social media presence.
Assist in the development and implementation of knowledge management platform and associated activities, including recording and maintaining information as well as training (of knowledge platform users).
Assist in updating / developing systems (standardization) and documenting procedures for all of the organisation business development, delivery, and support functions
Assist with maintenance, troubleshooting, installation, and procurement of Information Technology (IT) equipment and services.
Assist with data analysis, data management, and updating multiple databases that are being developed (as knowledge repository)
Assist with development of style sheets and perform quality assurance checks for documents being shared externally
Assist in the development and implementation of systems, policies and procedures for improved management.
Assist in business development and delivery on an ongoing basis as and when required.
