Department: Accounting & Finance

Position Summary:

The M&A Manager will be responsible for leading and managing all aspects of the company's M&A transactions. The successful candidate will work closely with the Director of Finance and other senior executives to develop and execute the company's M&A strategy, identify and evaluate potential acquisition targets, and negotiate and structure deals.

Responsibilities:

Identify potential acquisition targets, merger opportunities, or divestiture options that align with the company's strategic objectives.
Conduct in-depth due diligence on target companies, including financial analysis, operational assessment, market research, and risk evaluation.
Prepare detailed financial models, valuations, and investment analysis to support decision-making processes.
Collaborate with legal, finance, and operations teams to negotiate and structure transaction terms, including purchase agreements, shareholder agreements, and transition services.
Coordinate and lead cross-functional teams to execute mergers, acquisitions, and divestitures, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and timelines.
Provide regular updates to senior management on deal progress, risks, and mitigation strategies.
Assist in post-merger integration activities, including operational planning, cultural alignment, and synergy realization.
Stay updated on industry trends, market dynamics, and competitive landscape related to mergers and acquisitions.

Qualifications:

ACCA, CFA, CPA, MBA, Bachelor's degree in Finance or related field.
Minimum 3 years of experience in mergers and acquisitions, investment banking, private equity, or corporate development.
Proven track record of successfully executing mergers, acquisitions, or divestitures, including deal sourcing, due diligence, financial modeling, and transaction management.
Strong financial acumen and ability to analyze complex financial data and perform valuation analysis.
Solid understanding of legal and regulatory requirements related to mergers and acquisitions.
Excellent project management skills with the ability to manage multiple transactions simultaneously.
Exceptional communication and presentation skills, with the ability to influence and negotiate effectively at all levels of the organization.
Strong strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities.
Proficiency in financial modeling software and MS Office suite.
