Department: Accounting & Finance

Position Summary:

The M&A Manager will be responsible for leading and managing all aspects of the company's M&A transactions. The successful candidate will work closely with the Director of Finance and other senior executives to develop and execute the company's M&A strategy, identify and evaluate potential acquisition targets, and negotiate and structure deals.

Responsibilities:

  • Identify potential acquisition targets, merger opportunities, or divestiture options that align with the company's strategic objectives.
  • Conduct in-depth due diligence on target companies, including financial analysis, operational assessment, market research, and risk evaluation.
  • Prepare detailed financial models, valuations, and investment analysis to support decision-making processes.
  • Collaborate with legal, finance, and operations teams to negotiate and structure transaction terms, including purchase agreements, shareholder agreements, and transition services.
  • Coordinate and lead cross-functional teams to execute mergers, acquisitions, and divestitures, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and timelines.
  • Provide regular updates to senior management on deal progress, risks, and mitigation strategies.
  • Assist in post-merger integration activities, including operational planning, cultural alignment, and synergy realization.
  • Stay updated on industry trends, market dynamics, and competitive landscape related to mergers and acquisitions.

Qualifications:

  • ACCA, CFA, CPA, MBA, Bachelor's degree in Finance or related field.
  •  Minimum 3 years of experience in mergers and acquisitions, investment banking, private equity, or corporate development.
  • Proven track record of successfully executing mergers, acquisitions, or divestitures, including deal sourcing, due diligence, financial modeling, and transaction management.
  • Strong financial acumen and ability to analyze complex financial data and perform valuation analysis.
  • Solid understanding of legal and regulatory requirements related to mergers and acquisitions.
  • Excellent project management skills with the ability to manage multiple transactions simultaneously.
  • Exceptional communication and presentation skills, with the ability to influence and negotiate effectively at all levels of the organization.
  • Strong strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities.
  • Proficiency in financial modeling software and MS Office suite.
