Communication and Reporting Associate

Purpose of the role:

The purpose of this position is to ensure the program quality reporting for donor and HQ and  lead preparation and use of visibility materials as per SIDA’s guidelines.

To ensure inclusion across departmental work and within/by the team and  oversee internal coordination mechanism in Battagram base

   Job Profile:

• Bachelor's Degree in relevant field and/or relevant technical qualification
• Minimum 03 years of overall experience and 01 year in relevant field in development sector
• Ability to speak local Language (Pashto) is mandatory along with other languages Urdu & English
• Ability to work in a complex situations with little supervision provided,
• Have previous relationships with the Media (Radio, TV channels), also good knowledge of working with social media is required
• Previous experience of working in the KP will be a plus.
• Excellent written and verbal communication in English;
• Required working experience related to communication and visibility tasks
• Ability to work independently and with self-motivation
• Computer literate, knowledge of MS Word and Excel, and designing
• Willingness to travel frequently within the district to gather the case stories

Individual accountabilities:

• Provide regular guidance to field program and support staff to ensure quality reporting to donors and HQ.
• Develop good relationship with stakeholders at base level e.g. Journalists, Radio and TV Channels etc. for the proper visibility of the project
• To consolidate monthly/ quarterly APRs and event reports of the SDIA project in close coordination with sectors leads.
• Organize internal weekly/monthly coordination meetings, and circulate actions/ recommendation among project and capital office and maintain smartsheet regularly.
• Lead in development of program visibility and program activity IEC (Information Education Communication) /BCC material in close collaboration with Nutrition manager.
• To manage the communication platforms, documentation etc. for the communication purposes 
• Take lead in engagement of Journalists for building a profile of SIDA VIII project in media as well as collect and publish case stories.
• Timely review and submission of statistical and narrative report
•  Any other task assigned by Supervisor

• Lead in development and dissemination of success stories, producing high quality statements, articles, briefing materials and features material as well as other relevant content as required.

 SPM, Nutrition manager, and field staff (program) and Program Development (PD).

• Take lead documenting what SIDA 8 project is going in the field and to raise awareness and visibility of SIDA and share our work on different platforms e.g. Television, Radio and Social Media etc.

• Maintaining profile of the organization and the donor e.g. through projects’ visibility in the field.
