Qualification
Master's degree in public health/ Sociology or social work and or in any relevant field with minimum 07 years of overall experience with 04 years of emergency response experience.
OR
Bachelor's degree in relevant field with minimum 08 years of overall experience with 06 years in relevant field in humanitarian sector,
Position Objective
Coordinate and ensure smooth and timely implementation of flood emergency responses in Balochistan while adhering to logistics, HR, Finance and Security procedures as per ACF guidelines.
Mission 1: Provide Technical Leadership and Ensure effective project and partner management
· Possess excellent understanding and skills in management of multisector emergency response with focus on WASH, cash intervention and Nutrition.
· Support in development and regularly update project scope documents, detail implementation plan, BVA etc.
· Oversee budget utilization and keep informed all concerned including donors of the funding status/funds utilization. Prepare budget revisions if necessary in coordination with the Implementing Partner and inform internal departments and donor in a timely manner.
· Oversee administration of project budget, including control and monitoring of project related expenditures. Cash flow management, preparation of monthly/quarterly accounts (vouchers, invoices, receipts), preparation of interim and final financial reports/ PPPs etc.
· Maintain a target oriented and cordial work environment with the staff of implementing partner organization.
· Ensure timely procurements (items, consultancy, and services): in coordination with the Logistic department. Ensure timely payments to all vendors.
· Ensure the preparation of weekly, monthly, annual and end of project reports as required by ACF, Government, donors and other key stakeholders. Work to ensure that all reports are accurate, comprehensive, well documented and timely submitted to ensure the credibility of the project.
· Ensure continual monitoring of the project's progress to ensure that the project systems are working to achieve specific objectives and results. Maintain ACF accountability standards.
· Ensure that all of the project data is timely and efficiently archived during at end of the project period as per ACF SOPs.
· Play a lead role in ensuring best possible district level government relations and that project meets all legal requirements. Maintain good information sources and communications with key stakeholders such as Banks and telecom sector companies and national and international NGO's working in the operational in districts.
Mission 2: Proactively support ACFs commitments to gender equality and child protection sensitivity
· Read and ensure a full understanding and promotion of ACFs Gender Minimum Standards & Child Protection Policies
· Implement all work related activities with a gender, inclusion and child protection lens, taking into account the different needs, concerns and ideas of our staff and beneficiaries
· Ensure and encourage the incorporation of gender equity principles in all policies and activities
· Help build an inclusive office environment where people do not feel disadvantaged or judged according to their gender or limited due to manageable disability.
