Functions

A. Verification of CFW forms

Collecting CFW attendance sheets and payment forms from each CFW Officer on a weekly basis;
Cross-checking every entry to ensure accurate attendance and payment details;
Correcting any mistakes or absence of signatures through close coordination with CFW Officers and Team Leaders;
Ensuring that forms are accurate through cross-checking with laborers at time of payment.

B. Payment of CFW

Preparing a one week field payment schedule in advance and share with CFW Officers, Program Manager and Finance Officer;
Liaising closely with finance to ensure the required amount of cash is requested one week in advance and is prepared for distribution;
Paying daily laborers individually in the field on a weekly basis per base;
Collecting thumbprints/signatures, ID Cards of those who are paid.

C. Entry of progress into database

Enter CFW details into a database;
Prepare a weekly summary of amount spent in the last week and amount estimated to be spent in the coming week broken down by project, and to be shared with Program Management and Finance and included into the Weekly Activities Report of the Finance Department;
Assist with any queries regarding CFW from country or area coordination teams;
Maintain filing of all CFW documents.

D. Training

Attend any training requested by the organization

ACTED is a non-governmental organization with headquarters in Paris. Independent, private and not-for-profit, ACTED operates according to principles of non-discrimination and transparency. The country programme comprises of four key pillars: Pillar 1 – Humanitarian assistance – Through this component, ACTED supports the emergency and early recovery needs of communities following disasters. In recent years this has included support for communities affected by floods, earthquakes and the complex emergency; Pillar 2 – Income generation and sustainable livelihoods – ACTED has extensive experience in this sector including market-oriented vocational trainings, basic skills development, as well as on and off-farm livelihood assistance; Pillar 3 – Social cohesion and access to basic services – ACTED improves access to basic services through a range of measures including support for educational institutions, community infrastructure and local governance. Social cohesion is a key component to ensuring equitable service provision. ACTED’s interventions include the establishment of local representation bodies as well as supporting the rights of women, minorities and marginalized groups; Pillar 4 – Environmental protection and community resilience – This pillar aims to mitigate some of the effects of recurrent disasters, climate change and environmental degradation.
