Job Description

Develop and Review Bug Reports and do the necessary follow-up during the complete bug life cycle.
Develop and review test strategies, plans, cases, and scripts related to the module or project.
Create and validate test data for functional components of web applications, devices apps(iPhone and Android).
Assign tasks to team members and monitor task status.
Implement software tools and technologies, testing techniques, and procedures that facilitate the SQA process.
Participate and contribute in analysis meetings.
Assist Project leads in solving Quality Assurance issues.
Facilitate meetings with system development staff throughout the test effort.
Communicating with developers, Analysts, and the Client Services team concerning defects/bugs.
Evaluate and test software programs to verify programs function according to user requirements.
Assist in the transfer of fully tested software into operational versions, including the preparation and distribution of software and appropriate collateral materials to users.
Plan and perform Load/Performance Testing.
Preparing test reports and sharing these reports with higher management.

Skills Required

Candidates with 4-5 years experience will be given preference with functional knowledge of Automation tools ( JMeter, Selenium, QTP and LoadRunner, Ghost Inspector) highly recommended.
Candidate must have familiarity with Java, JavaScript, and jQuery languages that is of significant advantage for this job.
Must be fluent with Agile, scrum, sprint implementation, and additionally familiarity with Agile tools like JIRA will be a big plus.
Candidates should have the following skills set
Must be familiar with Agile methodology, scrum process, and sprint implementation,
The candidate should have skilled knowledge of Testing and SQA methodologies, processes.
Understanding of complete Software Development and Testing Life Cycle and these testing types in the testing process,
Writing Test Plan
Writing Test Cases
Black-box Testing
System Testing
Regression Testing
Performance Testing
Security Testing
Functional Testing
API Testing using a tool like Postman….etc
Must be familiar with knowledge of Software Quality Assurance best practices and bug life cycle.
Good Knowledge of databases, including knowledge of SQL.
Good knowledge about Software Development Models.
Must be familiar with Software Industry Standards like CMMI, ISO, etc.
Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills are required.
