Software Engineer (Python - PHP Laravel)

Advertelligent, Pakistan’s first Artificial Intelligence based Ad-Tech Company is looking for an ambitious, energetic and purpose driven software engineer / full stack developer who is proficient in Python as well PHP based Laravel Framework. The individual should have a knack for innovation and creativity and should have strong OOP and problem solving skills. Individual must have some basic knowledge of Python and should have experience in Laravel or any other related PHP Framework (Cake, Symphony or Code Ignitor). The applicant must have knowledge of ORM Models in Laravel. Experience in working with No SQL Databases and Computer Visions skills preferably in Open CV (Python) would be preferred. The applicant should be familiar with AWS especially ECS (Elastic Container Services), Docker, and other architecture tools. Equity may also be offered depending upon the performance.

The individual would be required to work on different aspects of the core application which may include working on Python, working on the Laravel framework in PHP and working on AWS and Docker as well. However, the core focus of the job would be on working with PHP (Laravel Framework) and building front end UI and UX design and working with No SQL and SQL Data Bases.

Required individual must consider himself as an “all-rounder” as he/she will get a chance to work on multiple technologies. The individual should have a fast learning curve and should be excited to learn about new technologies and tools. He/She should be able to work in a fast paced environment with the ability to meet deadlines on time.

Technical requirements

Web development experience in Laravel (PHP)
Experience in python (scripting or development)
Computer vision in Python (OpenCV)
Databases (SQL, NoSQL)
AWS ECS (Docker and Containers)
Familiarity with machine learning / data science (preferable)
