Prepare and review drawings (2D & 3D) and specification documents for the Conceptual Design Phase, Schematic Design Phase, and/or the Detailed Design Phase of projects.
Produce and review building projects plans by applying knowledge of architectural design, construction detailing, construction procedures, zoning and building codes, and building materials & systems.
Prepare and review architectural, structural and MEP drawings and other construction drawings required for schools and buildings projects.
Determines impact of site requirements and building codes to finalize all drawings.
Plan and program layout of project(s); coordinates and integrates engineering elements into unified design.
Utilize computer-assisted design software and equipment to prepare project designs and plans.
Manage project execution on site and coordinate with consultant and contractors.
Review and research project material proposals, assists in coordination of materials and products for project specifications and recommend cost effective solutions.
Interfaces with consultants and regional staff.
Compile project specifications, ensure that all works are carried out to specific standards, building codes, guidelines and regulations.
Perform site visits and inspections to check project status, resolve architectural related issues and monitors compliance with building codes throughout the construction process.
Excellent knowledge and working experience of AutoCAD 2D and 3D.
Support Regions in developing maintenance related drawings/designs

Aga Khan Education Service, Pakistan (AKES,P) is a network of educational institutions that combines the operation of 159 schools and 5 hostels with the management of programmes to enhance the quality of teachers, academic resources and learning environments in Pakistan through community partnerships and long-term interventions. It is one of the largest third-sector networks of educational institutions in Pakistan and part of an international network of over 200 schools spread in 8 countries of the world under the Aga Khan Development Network (AKDN). Reaching out to the remotest areas of the country, AKES,P has been providing quality education in the region for the past 110 years. It is a direct provider of education for nearly 36,000 students from pre-primary to higher secondary levels and facilitates access to higher education through the provision of scholarships, hostels and other educational support services.With more than 2,000 employees, of whom over 1,500 areteachers, AKES,P is also supported by over 2,000 volunteers. In Gilgit-Baltistan and Chitral, the first AKES,P schools were setup in the 1940s; since then they have contributed significantly toincreasing the literacy rates and social development in theremote, mountainous, harsh and ecologically fragile regions ofNorthern Pakistan. AKES,P currently operates 151 schools inGilgit-Baltistan and Chitral, providing education to over 27,000students, of which 54% are girls. Through these efforts, AKES,Pis continuing to play a critical role in women’s development inthe region. In the Southern Region, AKES,P operates four schools in Karachi,three in Hyderabad and rural Sindh and one in Hafizabad,Punjab, with over 8,900 students. All AKES,P schools follow theNational Curriculum but place special emphasis on the teachingof English, Mathematics, Science and the increasing use ofInformation and Communication Technologies (ICT).
