Accounts Payable Associate

About the Role:

The role requires a capable and highly driven individual with strong eagerness to learn and grow in a challenging yet rewarding fast paced environment. Successful candidates will perform company’s day to day accounts payable responsibilities, bring new ideas and improve processes in accounts payable function. Successful candidates will have thorough knowledge of basic accounting and payment processes.

We are seeking highly motivated individuals, and quick problem solvers who gravitate towards a process driven approach solving operational challenges.

Responsibilities:

Process inventory daily payments after reconciling them with inventory admin portal,
Internal coordination with the supply team in different warehouses for inventory payments and resolution of any issues identified in inventory check-ins/payments,
Updating inventory admin portal for processed payments on an ongoing basis,
Communication with suppliers’ POC for payment status and resolution of any queries from the supplier’s with respect to processed payments,
Processing supplier payments with compliance of requisite tax requirements,
Communication of tax challans to suppliers for withholding tax deducted from the processed payments,
Performing day to day financial transactions, including verifying, classifying, and recording accounts payable data.
